Romanian 'Best Mom' Mug

Our “Best Mom” mug is a little love letter to all the amazing Balkan moms out there. The ones who always make sure everyone is fed, warm, and taken care of — often before they even think about themselves. Whether it’s for Mother’s Day or just because, it’s a small way to remind her how much she means to you (in every Balkan language.)

This is actually one of the very first designs we came up with when we launched Balkanish, and I’ve loved it ever since. There’s something about it that just feels happy — the colors, the message, the whole vibe. It reminds me that being Balkan isn’t just where you’re from, it’s a whole state of mind. It’s one of those designs that always makes people smile when they see it.

Balkan(ish) Baby Bodysuit

At the end of February, my first niece was born and I officially became an aunt. I’m already completely in love with her. Now that she’s here, the Balkan Baby line we worked so hard on (and put so much love and care into) — means even more to me. We created it for all the little Balkan babies being born in the diaspora, the ones growing up between cultures, languages, and traditions. Tiny, but already a little Balkan(ish).

Balkan Mom Mug

Mother’s Day is coming up, and Balkan Moms deserve to be celebrated.

They might not always be the “I love you” type but they show it in 1000s of little ways.
They are the center of our families, and we wouldn't be who we are without them.

This mug is a our little way of capturing that energy. It’s playful, it’s real, and it’s something she’ll actually use every day. Trust us, we tested it on our own families and it's Balkan Mom approved.

Balkan Baddie Tumbler

One of the things we love the most about starting Balkanish is getting to chat and connect with all of you! And in true Balkan fashion... you have a lot to say. We particularly get this one a lot: “When are you dropping more Balkan Baddie stuff?” This tumbler is just a little teaser of what’s coming next. Think bigger, bolder, and a whole lot more attitude. We’re expanding this line in a major way later this year, and this is just the beginning.

The Balkans are Calling Crewneck

Spring always takes me back to when I was younger, counting down the days until we’d visit family in Serbia. I remember that feeling so clearly — checking flights, planning outfits, the excitement building knowing I was going home. Now it’s the same energy, just a little different. Spring hits and suddenly everyone’s either booking their trip back… or thinking about it 24/7. Because there’s something about the Balkans that never really leaves you.

This sweatshirt captures that exact feeling. Clean, minimal, but instantly understood by anyone who’s part of the diaspora. Honestly, I wish something like this existed when I was younger — but you already know I’ll be wearing it at the airport on my next trip back.
